The new standards in California set the tone for phlebotomy education throughout the United States, producing well trained, knowledgeable phlebotomists. Employers are staffing certified phlebotomists to ensure compliance with the California Department of Public Health, Laboratory Field Services.

How Long Does it Take?
From start to finish, you will complete the entire course in 80-84 hours, within a convenient schedule that consists of classes held on the weekends. To be eligible, you must have either a High School diploma or GED.
How Much Does it Cost?
The cost of the program is broken down into three class sections for ease of payment:
The Basic Class (20-22 hours) is $550.00, the Advanced Class (20-22 hours) is $550.00, and the Clinical Class (40+ hours) is $650.00. There is a one-time (non-refundable) registration fee of $275 which covers your required textbook, all handout materials, lab coat, hazardous waste fees and clinical supplies. For the complete program tuition, you will invest a total of $2025.00. There are no refunds of any payment(s) made to CPT.
Our school promotes and teaches the art and study of phlebotomy. Our courses are taught by accredited, knowledgeable, and professional staff that are certified in many fields in addition to phlebotomy. Our School is approved by California Department of Public Health Laboratory Field Services. We have been successfully teaching California's future phlebotomists since 2003.
Our goal is to give each student the knowledge and practice required to successfully perform in the field of phlebotomy. We seek to give our students the skills necessary to not only obtain a job, but to advance in this highly important occupation.

The state of California, as of April 9, 2003, has implemented certification requirements for those who currently practice phlebotomy, or wish to do so. All phlebotomists and students must take a California approved phlebotomy course, and upon completion, pass a national exam. If you have had phlebotomy experience in the last 5 years, you may only need our advanced class to be eligible for the certification test and licensinging required by the state of California.
Note: Students from other schools are welcome to take our Clinical courses, based on certain eligibility requirements.
