Wanda Tardy, RN

Director - Complete Phlebotomy Training, Inc.

Wanda worked for Hemet Valley Hospital for 15 years in many different departments including the Operating Room, Medical/Surgical departments and the Intensive Care Unit.  After becoming an instructor for Mount San Jacinto College she spent four years teaching medical terminology, medical back office and phlebotomy. When rumor of the new Phlebotomy regulations surfaced in 1999,Wanda took a leave of absence from the  College to develop the curriculum for Complete Phlebotomy Training.

Wanda wrote the curriculum and then developed and produced the classes a full year in advance of the State of California deadline for Phlebotomy.

While continuing to work in the emergency room, Wanda taught Phlebotomy on the side.By working closely with the local hospitals, she was able to forge a mutually beneficial relationship between the staff and students.

The students at Complete Phlebotomy Training receive the highest standard of didactic training followed by an intense clinical training class along with externships in the local hospitals.

Wanda completed her Bachelor's degree in Nursing in February 2010 and is currently working on her Graduate degree in nursing education.  She continues to run CPT and to work closely with the students and staff.
